I wasn't illustrating ideas

the only art form I could do and also parent was quilt-making
I also painted watercolours of the beauty of motherhood, but I put my rage into the quilts
and as I worked on them the rage transformed from anger or frustration
into love.
It was noticible.
I wasn't illustrating ideas.  I was IN IT.
