Sky as female

Things pass into and out of the female body and women have to learn about and own this traffic as personal and continuous.  It's hard to keep pace, it's exulting, it's unknowable, we fall behind in the accounting.
At heart, our relationship to time is a slave relationship.

stitched all day

Stitched all morning on this and at noon, pinned it to the dining room wall.  I found the bag of thread - and plan to stay here at cottage for one more week.  Shall continue stitching it.

energy cloth, basic goodness, mother Canada, the sun-moon piece I made in March 2020, my awakened heart, moon boat, inner world, holy holy, night sky whirl, red sparkling water.  Layered linen and wool, cosmic imagery and hand embroidery-quilting.
