Aili's quilt

There is a marvelously obsessive nature to craft that allows a person to dive down through the ocean of everyday life to a seafloor of meditative making.

It is an antidote to what ails you.

  1. I really love the french knots-I love making them and the tactile impact them have. I want to reach my hand onto this quilt binding and touch the knots-what a nice binding idea! Very lovely way to finish a very lovely quilt for your baby!

    1. 52 inches square, Tina. Large for a baby quilt - but I think it will be OK. She'll have it her whole life I hope.

  3. Thanks, I love this quilt and your granddaughter will treasure this quilt. I have several from my grandmother that I love. I curl up in them and can feel her with me.
