I'm comforted by the reminder that for centuries,
creative work has come from the most ordinary things.

Children, pets, fruit trees, seasons and the passage of time.

    that is a comfort. ordinary is grossly underrated. have i asked you about the book called Evocative Objects?

      my favourite quote about this idea is Joseph Brodsky;s

      "Our artifacts tell more about ourselves than our confessions". It was taped to my wall for years.
