    Thank you Judy for this post and this quote. It expresses so aptly how I feel most of the time, switching back and forth between the role of wife/mother and myself/artist.

      "myself/artist"

      mothering and arting are both so emotionally courageous
      but they feed each other
      mothering makes your art true
      arting makes your time with your children a blessing
