sky with many moons


I like quilt baggage.
The large scale  - enough to cover a body, a family.
The weight of three layers.
The metaphor of protection.
The language of symbols, created by women.
and months of touching with the hand stitch
These add power.

    is this a new configuration of your moon cloth that has been a book a female figure and more or is this a new set of moons?

      this is a new configuration of moon cloth. I kind of regret cutting that piece up, but as I stitch this one, I feel better. xo
