y'know half a lifetime ago I was sharing a house & studio with a man who made fabulous lampworked glass dragons. A friend was visiting and asked Eric what else he did besides making dragons? Eric went very quiet,the conversation drifted on with more wine until about an hour went by, Eric looked up & replied, "What else is there?"
Ha Ha! That is how I have been feeling. These little blocks getting sewn together with concentration and empty head, both - has how I have been able to get through the days after Christmas and also before. Not sure if a green border will help the piece, but it gives me a way to keep working in this way. The repetition and also how the piece keeps growing, takes up a certain amount of space, yet is very light weight /full of body at same time....it's all therapy I guess. love you Mo and thanks for commenting xoxo
