abundance of memory

new stories

Q:  stories find their authors and this one found you.  How does that work?

A: oh, I’ve no idea how it works.  Nobody knows how it works,  I’ve never met anybody who knows how it works.  If we knew where stories come from we’d go back to that place and look for more, or avoid it.
