Q: stories find their authors and this one found you. How does that work?
A: oh, I’ve no idea how it works. Nobody knows how it works, I’ve never met anybody who knows how it works. If we knew where stories come from we’d go back to that place and look for more, or avoid it.

those satiny-edged blankets take me back to my childhood ... strange, but I can't recall colors, perhaps because most time spent with them was in the color-draining nighttime ... these fairly glow with the light of autumn

DeleteI haven't been able to do any more work on these blankets- since I posted them. I'm finishing up other pieces - but it's nice to think about that satiny edge. Actually, it is one blanket, sliced down the middle and flipped. Every now and then I come across two-different colours in a blanket. They are treasures for me. xo
