Good questions. Storage: I fold them up and put them in a pile in a cupboard or on a shelf. It depends on how far along they are. Sometimes, I get so far with a piece, fold it up and store it, and then when I come across it two years later, realize that it makes no sense any longer, and return it to my stash of fabrics.
Easy access: yes! Always available to my eye and hand, Catalogue them? No, unless you mean to I make a list of them. I do make lists of pieces I want to finish, and sometimes pieces fall away. I usually have about two dozen pieces on the go. It’s a lot x
I love working on the various pieces over long periods of time. They carry me through this life and all the ups and downs of it. Eventually, they each get finished, or they get abandoned. Either way they have been companions.
How do you store your pieces that are still in progress? Do you try to have easy access to them or do you rediscover them? Are they catalogued ?

DeleteSo beautiful Judy...and I liked the questions...and the idea of working on something over time, sometimes a long time. Nancy
