I picked things up from the floor and put them in the wall. Then I wrapped each one with more stuff from the floor.
I’m working towards a deadline and it’s hard to stay focused. The kids gave me that Ghana basket. More later.

my velvet penguin
When I was little, my grandmother made me a soft animal for Christmas. It was softer than soft. A black velvet penguin with a white satin tummy. Silk velvet. Heavy silk satin. That penguin changed my life. I recall how it felt to touch it, pet it, hold it.
