concentrate
trust
have absence of judgement
wait until you feel
allow your yin (receptive) rather than yang (assertive) to take over
pause
let feeling guide you
that's all
Such wisdom. I especially delight at this: "let your yin (receptive) rather than yang (assertive) take over."
It is that pause that's so hard for me to tolerate - invite - endure. I hit a fallow, and I wrestle with myself. I should be doing something. I should know what to do, where I want to go, how I want this to look. It's actually a rich, fertile time. I just need to let it lead.
The Deliberateness idea comes from sumi-e painting. I used to paint watercolours and needed to wait for wet areas to dry, and leave just the right amount of pure white paper. x

Such excellent counsel from both you and Jeanne. Thank you for sharing.
