the narrative quality of textile art is not limited to represntation, or mirroring language, or to the description of events or objects in the real world.

telling a story is a broad, multi-dimensional process - it can include memory, dream, myth, emotion, legend, history, fragments of time, ideas of the imagination, possibilities.
