Ned gets a big, fat gold star for saving these for you. You know what? Hang them the other way, and they become teardrops. Those spirals stitched with wool thread? Divine. xo, Sugar
the spiral one is my favourite too - but I also like the distortion in the metallic one. (Ned is disturbed by that \I think, but just the right amount) thanks Jeanne, and thanks for calling me Sugar. I love that. xo
Fantastic exhibition pieces with words that are very thought provoking. I'm in that mindset after seeing the Fashion On A Ration exhibition yesterday at the imperial war museum in Manchester U.K.
I agree that these are good exhibition pieces. What excites me most is that they came together so quickly (for me)....after lying in hibernation for years and years. It was as if this was finally their time to sing. I love Manchester. xo
Hi Judy I have only recently found your site.. Love these pieces. They remind me of skins, like the old foxes women used to drape around their necks or dangle down their backs. Fits beautifully with your creation ideas and your need to keep them!
